Fantastic $30 Cartography Software Bundle Is a Virtual Tabletop GM's Dream
Following a brief run earlier this year, the Map Making Mega Bundle has returned with an encore that lasts through early December. Described as an extensive collection of mapping tools developed by ProFantasy Software over the years, the complete package is valued at over $1,300. Additionally, there exist multiple package options offered in this deal.
The Main Attraction
The big draw is definitely permanent access to the CC3+ software, a professional-grade cartography program that can be used to generate various types including fantasy overworld maps, smaller regional maps, city maps, and, perhaps most importantly, dungeon and tabletop battle maps.

Basic Package
The cheapest bundle tier, at a minimum cost of $1, features merely four from the thirty-nine available products: Fantasy Overland Symbol Collection, Token Treasury: Monsters 1, Source Maps: Castles!, Urban Source Maps. This one's only for existing CC3+ users, but it does offer fresh fantasy design elements for overworld maps, more than 750 monster tokens compatible with online gaming platforms, over twenty-five top-down castle layouts with 470 associated map tokens, eight fully mapped cities, and more than 70 urban floorplans.
Mid-Range Option
The eight-item bundle starting at fifteen dollars is where things get more interesting by adding in permanent CC3+ access, Cartographer's Annual Vol 1, Ultimate Mapping Guidebook, Isometric Cities Symbol Pack. Cartographer's Annual is the yearly bundle from the company's long-running monthly subscription service featuring a variety CC3+ add-ons including map packs and additional utilities. The Isometric Cities enables display cities with an extra dimension using angled views from all sides. And the Tome of Ultimate Mapping is a 760-page suitable for novices and experts, packed with guidance and instructions covering cartography techniques.

All 17 volumes of Cartographer's Annual come with this bundle, plus numerous additional tools and content enabling creators to craft complete solar systems, or focus exclusively on classic fantasy realm creation: combat arenas, underground complexes, urban centers, and land masses from almost any perspective. Users can also create character portraits. At thirty versus fifteen dollars, the full bundle is so worth it, particularly for mappers with temporary CC3+ access seeking permanent licensing. But it's obviously more advantageous for cartography beginners considering you even get the beginners' tutorials to facilitate learning. The one caveat here is that while you can redeem the deal on any platform, the software is only usable on Windows.
