Mohamed Salah Issues Regret to Squad, Says Curtis Jones
Jones has disclosed that Mohamed Salah apologised to the entire Liverpool squad following the fallout from his televised remarks.

He was omitted from a key Champions League match after voicing frustrations and claiming his connection to the head coach had deteriorated.
“Salah is an individual and he can say his own stuff,” Jones revealed. “He apologised to us and was like: ‘Should anyone feel slighted, I apologise.’”
The head coach has refused to disclose on whether he received a personal apology from the 33-year-old forward.
Team Unity
The player stated that the team's response was unchanged. “Nothing about him changed, his demeanour was positive and everybody was exactly the same with him,” the midfielder explained.
The midfielder also suggested that a competitor wanting to play is less of an issue. “I get that there are specific approaches you can go about things,” he said. “However, if a player is content to just sit out, then I think that’s concerning.”
Team Form
Liverpool's form have stayed unbeaten in the period after the situation. Jones believes the forward's comments were not intended to cause disruption.
“In moments of frustration, it has consistently come from a good place,” Jones concluded. “It's behind us and we’re building chemistry, getting results and securing victories.”
