Vince Zampella, Has Passed Away in a California Vehicle Accident
Vince Zampella, who helped create the wildly popular video game Call of Duty, has tragically died in a car accident in the state of California at the age of 55.
His passing was confirmed by Electronic Arts, the parent company of Respawn Entertainment, the video game company which he helped establish.
The celebrated game designer died after his car crashed and burst into flames on a freeway in Los Angeles on this past Sunday, US media outlets report.
"We are facing a devastating loss, and our deepest sympathies go to his family and friends, his family, and everyone impacted by his legacy," an official with Electronic Arts said.
